3 Hours Before Flight Time
The flight into Bhutan offers one of the most spectacular views of the Himalayan mountain range, including Mount Everest (8,848m) and other towering peaks, weather permitting. Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be warmly received by your guide and representative from the agency. From here, enjoy a scenic drive to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan.

After breakfast, begin your day with a visit to the Memorial Chorten, built in 1974 in memory of King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck, the third King of Bhutan and widely respected as the Father of Modern Bhutan. This beautiful white-washed stupa is one of the most iconic spiritual landmarks in Thimphu and a hub of daily religious activity for locals.
Next, proceed to Changangkha Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in the region, dating back to the 12th century. Perched on a ridge above central Thimphu, it offers panoramic views of the valley and is a popular place for Bhutanese parents to bring newborns for blessings.
