Mardi Himal is a mountain located in the Annapurna Region of Nepal. It is at an elevation of 5,587 m. Day by day, the popularity of this domain is increasing by a surprising number. The main reason for its increasing popularity is that it offers a fascinating experience with low risk. Another is that it is close to Pokhara, making it an easy and less time-consuming trip. Trekkers can reach their destination within 5 days or do a long circuit trip. Not only this, but throughout the journey you will not only see snow-capped mountains but also dense jungle, different species of birds, and remarkable views of villages. Hence, it is a low-difficulty trip with lots of fun, which even a beginner can wholeheartedly enjoy.
In this region, no tourists are allowed to trek alone. They need to be accompanied by a professional guide who has a license or book trekking with a company. Therefore, we will do our best to make this trip enjoyable. I can’t wait to see you.

The Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek offers a breathtaking journey through pristine rhododendron forests, traditional Gurung villages, and panoramic Himalayan vistas. Trekking this route, you’ll experience the serene beauty of the Mardi Himal region, with stunning views of Machapuchare (Fishtail), Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli peaks.
Expect peaceful trails away from the crowds, rich cultural encounters, and a rewarding climb to the secluded Mardi Himal Base Camp at 4,500 meters. The trek combines moderate challenges with incredible natural scenery, perfect for those looking to explore a lesser-known Himalayan adventure..
Your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara, which takes around 6-7 hours by tourist bus or private vehicle along the Prithvi Highway. Alternatively, you can opt for a short 25-minute flight. Once in Pokhara, you can relax and explore the lakeside area, enjoying views of the serene Phewa Lake and surrounding hills. Overnight stay in Pokhara.
After breakfast, you’ll drive about an hour to Kande, the starting point of the trek. The trek begins with an uphill climb to Australian Camp, offering great views of the Annapurna range, and then a gradual walk to Pothana village. From Pothana, you’ll continue through lush forests to reach Deurali, a peaceful village with a few teahouses. Overnight stay at Deurali.
Leaving Deurali, you’ll enter a dense forest of rhododendron and oak, trekking along a quiet, less crowded trail. The path gradually ascends, and after about 5-6 hours of trekking through the mystical forest, you’ll reach Low Camp. From here, you’ll start getting stunning views of Mt. Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) and the Annapurna range. Overnight stay at Low Camp.
Today’s trek takes you higher along the ridge, with the forest thinning out and the landscape opening up to spectacular mountain views. The trail is a steady uphill walk of about 4-5 hours. As you gain altitude, the views of Mardi Himal, Annapurna South, and Machhapuchhre become even more breathtaking. You’ll reach High Camp in the afternoon and spend the night there.
Starting early in the morning, you’ll hike to Mardi Himal Base Camp, which takes around 3-4 hours. The trail is steep but rewarding, offering panoramic sunrise views over the Annapurna Himalayas. After spending time at the base camp, you’ll descend back to High Camp and further down to Low Camp. From there, you’ll take a different route through the forest to Siding village, a quiet settlement at a lower elevation. Overnight stay at Siding.
After breakfast, you’ll take a jeep drive from Siding to Pokhara, which takes around 2-3 hours on a rough road. From Pokhara, you’ll either drive (6-7 hours) or take a short flight back to Kathmandu. Your memorable Mardi Himal trek concludes with your arrival in the capital.
A wonderful serenity has taken possession of my entire soul, like these sweet mornings of spring which I enjoy with my whole heart. I am alone, and feel the charm of existence in this spot, which was created for the bliss of souls like mine. I am so happy, my dear friend, so absorbed in the exquisite.

Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts. Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast of the Semantics, a large language ocean. A small river named Duden flows by their place and supplies it with the necessary regelialia.
It is a paradisematic country, in which roasted parts of sentences fly into your mouth. Even the all-powerful Pointing has no control about the blind texts it is an almost unorthographic life One day however.
