3 Hours Before Flight Time
Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, complete customs and immigration formalities. Make sure your visa clearance letter is easily accessible, and confirm that your visa fees have been paid. After clearing the airport procedures, meet your local guide and driver outside the terminal building, who will accompany you throughout your journey in Bhutan.
Drive through stunning valleys, ancient villages, and terraced fields as you make your way to Thimphu, the attractive capital of Bhutan. Once in Thimphu, see the Big Buddha (Kunjelhakhang), which provides sweeping views of the city and surrounding mountains, and pay a visit to the Memorial Chorten, which was constructed in memory of the late King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck. Enjoy the tranquil atmosphere and possibly discover neighborhood stores and cafés by taking a leisurely stroll through the city center in the evening. To prepare for the adventures of the next day, head back to your hotel for the night

Next, explore the Takin Sanctuary, home to Bhutan’s national animal, the unique and rare Takin, and enjoy observing them in their natural habitat.
