Welcome to Chitwan Jungle Safari, the starting point for your exploration of the best wildlife refuge in Nepal. The first national park in Nepal, Chitwan National Park, was created in 1973 and was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984. Our goal is to offer sustainable, immersive safari experiences that highlight the park’s abundant wildlife and rich cultural legacy. Our staff of knowledgeable naturalists and guides is committed to making sure your trip is both instructive and remarkable.

Over 93,200 hectares of Chitwan National Park, which is tucked away in the subtropical lowlands of south-central Nepal, are home to a variety of ecosystems, from vast grasslands to deep sal woods. More than 700 kinds of wildlife, including the endangered Bengal tiger and one-horned rhinoceros, can be found in this thriving ecosystem. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the park protects important cultural landmarks, including the holy sites of Bikram Baba and Balmiki Ashram, which are major pilgrimage destinations for Hindus from Nepal and India, in addition to providing a sanctuary for animals. We cordially invite you to join us at Chitwan Jungle Safari for an adventure that combines exhilarating wildlife encounters with rich cultural activities, all against the stunning backdrop of Nepal.

With a variety of travel alternatives to fit your tastes and timetable, Chitwan National Park is easily accessible. To go to this wildlife paradise, follow these steps:

By Air (The Quickest Choice)
Route: Take a plane from Kathmandu to the closest airport to Chitwan National Park, Bharatpur.
The flight lasts for about twenty-five to thirty minutes.
From Bharatpur: You can reach your preferred lodge or resort or the park’s entrance in a quick 30-minute drive.
Why Choose This? It’s perfect for people who are pressed for time or who want a comfortable and speedy trip.

From Kathmandu, by road (scenic option):

About 150 kilometres (93 miles) away.
Travel time by tourist bus or private vehicle: 5–6 hours.
Route Highlights: Along the Prithvi Highway, take in breathtaking vistas of Nepal’s rural landscape, terraced farms, rivers, and traditional villages.

From Pokhara:
The approximate distance is 140 kilometres (87 miles).

Highlights of the Route: Travel through lovely villages, winding roads, and verdant hills.
Why Opt for This? Ideal for those who wish to take in Nepal’s varied scenery and learn about the local way of life while travelling.

By Tourist Bus From Pokhara or Kathmandu:
