Koshi Tappu known as srilanka tapu also in Nepal it’s made by Koshi river barrage. Koshi Tappu is Nepal’s finest wetland and simply one of the best spots in all Asian for birds. Almost all the country’s long list of wetland birds occurs here. This wetland area has ratified on Ramsar area.

The Koshi Barrage is an extremely important resting place for many migratory birds, containing 87 winter and trans-Himalayan migratory species. The Koshi River is home to 80 species of fish. The endangered Gharial crocodile and Gangetic dolphin have been recorded in the river as well. During winter, many of the migratory birds can be seen on the Koshi Barrage and on the river channel. Migration usually peaks around mid-March. Much wildlife visits these areas during dusk and dawn. End boat trip by the bank of river and have picnic lunch. Short drive to the Koshi Barrage to view some bird-life and fresh water Dolphins. Late afternoon return to the camp.
